We at FCTD are proud to have successfully conducted our highly sought-after program, “Developing Yourself for Managerial Excellence” (DYME’23). Over the course of two days, participants from some of the most reputed companies in India, including Green Gas Limited, MRPL, IRCTC, SAIL, MPMRCL, Punjab National Bank, Rico Auto, CPWD, MPPKVVCL, NTPC, and RLDA, came together to enhance their managerial skills.
The program focused on providing participants with the tools and techniques necessary to excel as a manager in today’s fast-paced and constantly evolving business environment. Through a series of engaging and interactive sessions, attendees were able to develop their leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, while also learning about the latest industry trends and best practices.

“Developing Yourself for Managerial Excellence”
Well, who doesn’t want to excel at work with managerial skills? Just having skill sets for a particular role won’t help you in the long run. Developing yourself for managerial excellence is important because it allows you to enhance your leadership skills, make better decisions, communicate more effectively, increase your job satisfaction, stay ahead of industry changes, and attract promotions and career advancements. It also helps you to build a positive work culture, improve team performance, and create a more productive and efficient work environment.
FCTD is conducting a two-day non-residential program on “Developing Yourself for Managerial Excellence”, for executives across different domains and industries on 9th and 10th of February 2023 at Le Meridien, New Delhi.
Day 1 of the program was focused on helping individuals understand themselves better, with sessions on “Understanding Self: Gap Analysis” and “Winning Strategies”. Participants from reputed organisations had the opportunity to introspect and understand their strengths and weaknesses, and how they can leverage them to achieve success in their careers. The “Winning Strategies” session provided participants with practical tools and techniques that they can use to achieve their goals and succeed in the competitive corporate world.
Day 1 ended on a high note with an exciting management game called “Focus the Locus”. This game challenged participants to work together as a team and use their management skills to achieve success. It was an interactive and engaging way to put into practice the lessons learned throughout the day, and provided participants with an opportunity to network with their peers.

The “Developing Yourself for Managerial Excellence” program, conducted by FCTD on 9-10th February ’23; was a comprehensive training program aimed at equipping participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers. The program was designed to provide participants with a well-rounded experience, combining both theoretical and practical components.
Day 2 had an interesting set of sessions. The first session focused on developing emotional intelligence, which is crucial for success as a manager. Participants learned about the importance of self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to regulate their emotions in a professional setting. The session aimed to help participants understand the role of emotional intelligence in building strong relationships with their team and making sound decisions.
The second session was about developing a 360-degree relationship for higher performance. This session aimed to help participants understand the impact of their behavior on others and how to build positive relationships with their colleagues, superiors, and subordinates. The session covered various aspects of interpersonal communication and provided participants with practical tools and techniques to help them build and maintain effective relationships in the workplace.
The final session was a management game called “Mind the Mines”. This was an interactive and engaging activity that required participants to put into practice the concepts and skills they had learned during the previous sessions. The game simulated a real-life business scenario and allowed participants to make decisions and experience the consequences of those decisions in a safe and controlled environment.
At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their efforts and achievements. The program was well received by participants, who appreciated the opportunity to learn from experienced trainers and practitioners and to put their newly acquired skills into practice.
