3-Day Training Programme on “Behavioral and Personality Development, Communication Skills, Positive Thinking, Motivation, Emotional Intelligence, and Stress Management for NHPC

NHPC officials undertook a transformative experience during a 3-Day Training Programme at NHPC Chamera-1 from the 11th to the 13th of October, 2023.

Facilitated by FCTD, the event was meticulously designed to enhance behavioral and personality development, communication skills, positive thinking, motivation, emotional intelligence, and stress management, empowering participants to navigate the complexities of the modern workplace.

The event not only encouraged self-reflection but also fostered collaborative problem-solving, serving as a catalyst for personal and professional growth.

Training Programme on “Motivating and Leading Teams” at NHPC Limited Subansiri

FCTD held a training programme – “Motivating and Leading Teams” at NHPC Limited, Subansiri which was targeted at the leaders of the company on the evening of 24th September.

Often, leaders tend to get disheartened by the increasing responsibilities and dynamics in the company. Hence, a programme which addresses these issues is a must. We addressed the senior officers 20 GMS of NHPC at Dibrugarh.

The programme included a session on “Self Leadership” where we focused on gap analysis and discussed the winning habits of great leaders.

It was targeted at managing teams. The session “Driving teams towards Organizational Excellence” received an amazing response. We also had a fun game which ultimately spoke about balancing leadership.

Training Program on “Interpersonal Effectiveness” at NHPC Limited Subasiri

Working in a corporate is no longer a single-person thing. One needs to interact with peers, seniors, juniors, clients, customers and people from other companies.

FCTD is conducting a training programme on “Interpersonal Effectiveness” from 22-24 September at NHPC Limited Subasiri, which was inaugurated by GM HR Mr. N. K. Jain on 22nd September.

On Day 1, we conducted sessions on “The Growth Mindset” and “Self Awareness”; which we consider being the pillars of building any working relationship.

Training Programme on “Interpersonal Effectiveness” for the Executives of NHPC Subansiri

Emotional intelligence is often ignored, especially in the workplace.

FCTD conducted a training programme on “Interpersonal Effectiveness” for the Executives of NHPC Subansiri and Day 2 of the training focused on “Emotional Intelligence”.

The training included measuring emotional intelligence and an insightful session on “Developing 360-degree relationships at the workplace”.

This was followed by a case discussion and a self-assessment on the same.

Day 3 of the training programme was dedicated to “Strategies to resolve conflicts through collaboration”.

As obvious as it is, conflicts tend to happen, and one can not avoid them. But, sailing through these conflicts in a successful manner is important.

Post lunch session involved “Dynamics of Team working” which discussed the importance of being a team player.

Training Programme on Breaking the Glass Ceiling for Women Executives

Breaking the glass ceiling’ training program for women executives has been one of our most impactful offering as it empowered women with five essentials.

FCTD conducts special training programmes for women executives who aspire to take on bigger roles and ace them. From August 30th to September 1st, 2023, FCTD embarked on a comprehensive training program tailored exclusively for NHPC Subansiri Officials. Training Program on “Changing Face of Retirement” for NHPC(Faridabad) superannuating executives at Hotel Lalit, Faridabad

On August 17, 2023, FCTD hosted an enriching one-day training program on “Changing Face of Retirement at Hotel Lalit, Faridabad, exclusively for the superannuating executives of NHPC (Faridabad).

The event was a celebration of the remarkable journeys these executives have embarked on throughout their careers. Focused on helping them transition into the next phase of life, our program covered a wide array of topics, including retirement planning, financial wellness, and personal growth.

The day was filled with engaging discussions, expert insights, and moments of reflection. It was a privilege to equip these seasoned professionals with the knowledge and tools they need for a fulfilling retirement.

Training Programme on “Changing Face of Retirement” at NHPC Ltd

FCTD conducted a programme, “Changing Face of Retirement” at NHPC Ltd on 21st April’23. This programme is designed to help individuals prepare for their retirement and live a good, productive life after their retirement. It focuses on personal and professional aspects of an individual’s life, including physical, mental, social, and financial aspects.

The programme is based on the research findings that suggest that the most productive age group is 60 to 70 years, followed by 70 to 80 years and 50 to 60 years. This research finding suggests that the work life of an individual has extended to a longer period of time after the actual retiring age, which is 60. Therefore, it becomes important for individuals to focus on some personal and professional aspects of their life on superannuation.

The programme emphasizes that retiring is inevitable, but living a good, productive life after retirement is a choice. It aims to help participants adopt practical strategies to make them physically, mentally, socially, and financially secured and strong.
